Hydrogen: Useless, except as feedstock
Hydrogen is economically and thermodynamically useless except as a feedstock for synthetic hydrocarbon liquids or ammonia synthesis. It takes 1.6 to 2.2 times the energy contained in H2 to create it, compress it, transport it, etc. H2 is a fantasy.
